Match report  Blessington is one of those venues that the club finds hard to ignore. A short drive makes a welcome change from the trip to most of our regular venues and the quality of the roach fishing can be outstanding - on its day. This was not its day, however, and most members struggled for bites in bright and mild but blustery conditions. Marcin Kantor used pole tactics to best effect by putting together a net of quality roach for 2.920 kg and first place - his net included a superb roach of 1 lb 4oz. Eoin Schweppe stayed in the hunt for the league title with a solid 1.500 kg bag of roach from the end peg.
